Gratitude

Students and staff will be practicing gratitude for the month of February. Did you know that studies on kids and teens have shown that : Gratitude practice is linked to enhanced happiness, optimism, and social support as well as overall satisfaction with school, family, community, friends and self.

Focusing on what you have to be grateful for decreases stress and negative thinking, increases happiness, and promotes social intelligence. It makes us more resilient and helps us feel more satisfied with our lives. You can read more about the science of gratitude HERE.
